What is the purpose of the Arizona Pharmacy/Prescription Wholesaler Bond?
The Arizona Pharmacy/Prescription Wholesaler Surety Bond is required by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy under A.R.S. 32-1982(D) in the amount of $100,000. It essentially ensures compliance for wholesale distribution of prescription-only drugs from the Arizona Pharmacy Practice Act in order to secure payment of any administrative penalties imposed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and any fees and costs incurred by the ASBP regarding that permit.
