This surety bond is required by the Nebraska Collection Agency Board under Nebraska Rev. Stat. 45-608. The bond ensures that the bond holder will perform all agreements with the licensee’s clients or customers and shall, within forty-five days after the close of each calendar month, report the net proceeds of all collections made during the preceding calendar month and due to each client or customer. The required bond amount varies as follows:
Sixteen or more licensed solicitors- $15,000
Five to fifteen licensed solicitors- $10,000
Less than five solicitors- $5,000
