The bond ensures that the bondholder will comply with the provisions of Chapter 140 of the Code of the City of Buffalo, as amended, relating to collection agencies, and that he or she will pay all damages by reason of any misstatement, misrepresentation, fraud or deceit or any unlawful act or omission. The amount for this bond is set at $5,000 and must be also be notarized.
