This surety bond is required by the Landscape Contractors Board. This bond ensures that the bond holder, or principal, will pay all amounts that may be ordered by the Landscape Contractors Board against the principal by reason of negligent or improper work, or breach of contract in performing any of said work, in accordance with ORS chapter 671 and OAR chapter 808. The required bond amount is either $3,000, $10,000, or $15,000 and is ultimately determined by the board itself. The premium on this bond is generally as little as $100 for a $3,000 bond, $300 for a $10,000, or $450 for a $15,000.
