What is the purpose of a Florida Alcoholic Beverage & Tobacco Bond?
All manufacturers and distributors of alcoholic beverages and tobacco projects must acquire a Florida Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco Bond. It ensures that companies will account for and pay promptly all money due to the division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, including fees and taxes. The required 
bond amount varies based on the products involved and the title of the person handling the products. The bond covers three different Florida statutes; beverage laws (Chapters 561-568, F.S.), cigarette laws (Chapter 210, F.S., Part I), and tobacco product laws (Chapter 210, F.S., Part II).
